Course Description

8 Week Program

An eight-week intensive training course in dance music production covering all aspects of modern recording techniques with hands on training given by pros working in the dance music industry. Classes are taught by professional producers, DJ’s and recording engineers and will consist of no more than 15 students. Each will be guided through the production of their own track, which they will produce, by the end of the course. Upon completion of the course, each student will submit his or her finished work which will be considered for release to be pressed as a single.

A panel of professional producers, DJs and recording industry A&R, will judge all submissions based on production quality, composition, and marketability within the dance genre. Students who compose tracks which meet industry standards will have the opportunityto have their tracks presented to one of our affiliate record labels for consideration for a release and subsequent recording deal. We have an ongoing "open door" submission policy to all students both during and after their training. We strive to make every opportunity available to open career doors for you including remixes and placement for your original tracks on singles, compilations, advertising, licensing etc.

The dance music industry is a relatively small and tightly knit community built on relationships and community. This is a very hands-on real world course designed for real artists who are passionate about their careers and their future.

Schedule: Classes are held one weeknight per week from 7:00PM - 9:30PM.

The day of the week is scheduled according to student's flexibility.

Tuition: $1,000 and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The full amount is due upon registration and is payable by cash, check, or money order.
